An argument that turned physical resulted in the arrest of a Napa woman Tuesday.

At 8:40 p.m., Napa Police officers responded to the report of a fight at a residence in the 2500 block of Elm Street, police said.

The male victim was in an argument with Gretchen Marie Hallmark, 40, during which she hit the man several times, causing minor injury, police said.

She also bit him and threw household items at him, they said.

Hallmark was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and booked at the Napa County Department of Corrections.
