U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi will host a forum on Thursday at Sonoma State University titled: “When Women Succeed, America Succeeds: An Economic Agenda for Women and Families.”

Women leaders from California’s 5th District, which includes Napa County, will tell their personal stories and talk about the importance of the “When Women Succeed, America Succeeds” economic agenda.

Participants include: Jeri Hansen-Gill, CEO of Sustainable Napa County; Socorro Shiels, superintendent of the Santa Rosa City School District; Andrea Ballus, founder and owner of Sift Cupcake and Dessert Bar, and Mona Babauta, executive director of Solano County Transit. 

The forum will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Sonoma State University's Student Center Ballroom at 1801 East Cotati Ave., in Rohnert Park.
