Sometime between Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday, one or more suspects entered two houses on a parcel in the 7200 block of Pope Valley Road in Pope Valley and stole a number of tools, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office. The burglary was reported at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, Napa County Sheriff’s Capt. Tracey Stuart said.

The incident is one of eight residential burglaries in east Napa County since Friday, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office. Five residential burglaries were reported Friday in the Angwin area and another one Saturday after midnight in the Pope Valley area, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Detectives are following leads on all the burglaries, Stuart said.

In another incident, a resident in the 3100 block of Mount Veeder Road reported someone stole her mail between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Stuart said. The woman reported the theft at 3 p.m. There are no suspects in that case, Stuart said

    Scarey! We as a comunity need to keep our eyes open for suspicious activity on are neighbors properties. Lets catch these jerks.
