Napa City Councilman Mark van Gorder has picked up three new endorsements in his bid for the District 2 seat on the Napa County Board of Supervisors.

Van Gorder, who’s challenging incumbent Supervisor Mark Luce, has been endorsed by U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson, D-St. Helena, District 4 Supervisor Bill Dodd, and the Napa Chamber of Commerce.

“I am very pleased to have the support of Congressman Thompson and Supervisor Bill Dodd — both of whom know from experience how important it is to work together across party lines,” van Gorder said in a statement. “The support of the Napa Chamber of Commerce reinforces my work to develop relationships with the city and county and to bring about greater cooperation between both jurisdictions.”
