The Napa Valley Transportation Authority is immediately suspending some VINE Transit bus service in response to the ongoing fire disaster and to assist with evacuation efforts.
All bus routes are temporarily suspended, except for Routes 8, 10, and 11, which will operate on the Saturday schedule, the Authority said in a news release Thursday morning.
Route 29 will continue operating and include weekend service. Routes 10 and 29 will turn around in St. Helena.
Shuttle service in American Canyon, Yountville, St. Helena and Calistoga is also suspended until further notice.
These changes will remain in effect through Sunday, when NVTA will evaluate conditions and adjust schedules accordingly.
