Gabriela Gomez Quezada died Nov. 9, 2013, in Calistoga. She was born in Pabellon de Arteaga, Aguasaliente, Mexico, on April 6, 1983, to Gliserio Gomez and Amelia Quezada.

After graduating from St. Helena High School, Gaby worked at Sutter Home and St. Helena Bistro. She enjoyed hiking and camping.

Gaby is survived by her parents, Gliserio Gomez and Amelia Quezada Castillo; daughter, Camila Macias; brother, Sergio Gomez; half-siblings, Rey, Gabriel, Nancy, Estefani and Alejandro Gomez; and grandparents, Felipe Gomez and Maria de Jesus Quezada. She was predeceased by Jorge, Chello and Norma Gomez.

Visitation will take place at Claffey & Rota on Nov. 18 at 3 p.m., followed by visitation and recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at St. Helena Catholic Church. The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at St. Helena Catholic Church, with burial in Mexico.

    R.I.P Gabi. I was so sad to hear the news the day you passed. You were such a fun woman, full of laughter and energy. You are missed by so many and you have touched so many lives.
