We have lived in many California towns and have been very impressed with the employees at our local post office; they are, by far, the best we have ever come across.

Charley delivered a package to us at about 5:30. When he returned to his truck, the battery had died. He asked us for a jump and we were happy to help him out. He is super polite and was so grateful. He told us he still had a whole bunch of mail to deliver.

It was cold and dark but he was cheerful as he took off down the road. Lori, the supervisor at the post office, is also an exemplary employee, always working hard, often doing routes when one of her employees calls in sick, always upbeat and going the extra mile. This is true of the rest of the group as well, although I do not know all of their names.

We give thanks this time of year for all manner of things; we want to add our local post office to the list of things for which we are grateful.
