JV Football: St. Helena 28, Upper Lake 6The Saints capped off an undefeated season by downing the Cougars. Charles Bertoli scored on touchdown runs of 2 and 3 yards while Michael Crean scored on rushing plays of 3 and 20 yards.
Varsity football: St. Helena 47, Upper Lake 0The St. Helena High football team beat the Upper Lake Cougars to the punch at the line of scrimmage, but it was the Saints’ special teams that catapulted them to a season-closing 47-0 shutout over the Cougars Friday night.

The Mustangs pounded Clear Lake 42-6 as running back Kris Farinha carried 19 times for 196 yards. Cardinals running back Kevin Burt ran 18 times for 163 yards.
