Vintage wraps up nonleague docket with defeatLOOMIS — Vintage High School struggled on both sides of the ball Friday night in losing a nonleague football game to Del Oro, one of the state’s top-ranked teams, 60-0 at Golden Eagle Stadium in Placer County.

Vintage (0-4) at Del Oro (4-0)Last week: Vintage had two turnovers and lost to Bethel-Vallejo, 20-6. Del Oro beat Merced, 38-13, as Bryce Pratt ran for 168 yards on 23 carries and scored four touchdowns. Max Magleby was 12-of-18 passing for 188 yards and a TD.

Vintage couldn’t get its running or passing game going. Defensively the Crushers intercepted two passes, but they also had trouble stopping the run and pass.

Rancho Cotate (9-2 overall, 7-1 North Bay League) won its first seven games and advanced to the CIF North Coast Section Division II playoffs, losing in the quarterfinals to Las Lomas-Walnut Creek (21-17).
