About Arts Council Of Napa Valley

As the official local arts agency in Napa County, it is our role to connect, advocate and lead the arts community countywide. By building a network of advocates, organizing policy initiatives, and empowering the industry through education, information, and resources, we serve to benefit all residents with a more sustainable, accessible and quality local arts scene.  Our current core programs focus on communication, cultural tourism, public art, and K-12 education.

Arts Council Napa Valley (ACNV) began in 1963, founded by a small grassroots group of passionate community leaders to help organize and support the community's arts activities.  In 1981 the then volunteer team incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation to accept donations and apply for grants to grow its breadth of services.  Today ACNV is a professionally-run organization designated as the county’s agency, executing services countywide through professional staff and expert program consultants.

Arts Council Napa Valley provides leadership that unites, supports, and enhances our exceptional arts and culture community.

Throughout Napa County the arts are celebrated, fostering a cultural center that inspires the world.

Innovation. Inclusivity. Collaboration. Integrity. Strategy. Fun.
