The Indians trailed 18-6 after one quarter and 32-19 halfway through Friday’s semifinal at the Buck Bailey Invitational in Woodland.
“We played well defensively, but they were a very good team,” Napa coach Cesar Cruz said. “They stopped us from getting transition points and we get a lot of our points from those.”
Tom Salsman led the Indians with 20 points, while Kiel Brown had 11 and Colton Forster four. Demian Diaz amassed 15 rebounds and four steals. Zane Daee played good defense off the bench.
Napa took a 6-3 record into Saturday’s third-place game against Liberty Ranch-Galt.
