The Joe DiMaggio League World Series continued on Monday at the Veterans Home of California’s Cleve Borman Field in Yountville.
In the first game, the Tri-County Gamblers eliminated the Sierra Sundevils, 10-2.
Nick Mora went the seven-inning distance to get the win. JJ Harlan took the loss.
Michael Bermudez was 3 for 4 with two RBIs, T.J. Dove was 2 for 4 with two RBIs, and Colton Minton drove in two runs for Tri-County.
Nate Nolan had two hits for the Sundevils.
In the second game, Raneri & Long/Mark Coleman Insurance beat Pacifica, 3-0. Jake Peters and Camielo Diaz combined on a three-hitter. Peters went five innings to get the win and Diaz got the save after throwing two innings.
Sam Davison was 3 for 4, Zach Hosford was 2 for 3 with a double and RBI, and Gary Hercules was 1 for 2 with a triple and RBI.
In the third game, the Millbrae Mavericks used 14 hits to beat River City of Sacramento, 13-6.
Leading Millbrae were Mike Svozil (3 for 5, double, run), Luci Molina (3 for 4, double, two RBIs, two runs), Serano Espinola (2 for 4, double, two runs, RBI), Sean McHugh (double, two runs, RBI), Dom Guiliani (2 for 3, double, three RBIs, run), Kyle Ballans (2 for 3, RBI), and Joey Carney (winning pitcher, seven-inning distance).
Millbrae is undefeated.
Hunter White (double, RBI) and Johnny Schuck (2 for 2, double, run) led River City.
Ignacio Diaz took the loss.
