AC Elite, a 16-and-under softball team, finished with a 5-1 record in Antelope last weekend, taking first place in the 16/18 Gold bracket of the DF All World Softball tournament.

AC Elite went 2-1 on Saturday, with its only loss coming against the Scarlet Saints of Davis 10-0.

AC Elite’s wins were over the Wolverines of Reno, Nev., 10-1, and All Out Envy of Reno, 12-1.

AC Elite was seeded second for Sunday’s games and took on the NV Sharks of Nevada, winning 8-1.

Next, they took on Envy again and won 12-0, setting up a rematch with the Scarlet Saints.

AC Elite prevailed 5-3.

AC Elite also played in its first tournament last month in Sacramento, taking home the Silver Division Championship in 16/18 at Freedom Park.

AC Elite receives support from the Napa County Sheriff’s Activities League.

The team consists of Nicole Reed, Christian Montgomery, Zoe Danner, Sarah Van Blarcom, Cassidy Pallo, Miki McCoy, Ashley Bell, Jules Riddle, Lindsey DuBois, Rebecca Morris, Riley Fast, Robyn Feinberg and Brianna Rivera.
