Act 2, a new thrift store in St. Helena benefiting Napa Valley Hospice & Adult Day Services, is open for sales on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on the first Sunday of every month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 345-A La Fata St. in St. Helena.
Donation drop-off hours are Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Wednesdays and Thursdays by appointment. Anyone interested in volunteering time or donating funds or merchandise may call Patty Worthey at 707-244-4687 or 244-4686.
At Act 2, shoppers will find a large selection of treasures including clothing, shoes, housewares, bedding, furniture, camping equipment, art, toys, jewelry and other finds.
“The Act 2 thrift shop provides us with the opportunity to offer the community a much larger selection of items than will fit in our smaller La Boheme store,” said Linda Gibson, the organization’s president and CEO. “All donations are tax deductible, and help support the agency’s mission of providing compassionate care to all we serve.”
Napa Valley Hospice & Adult Day Services (NVHADS.org) has served more than 10,000 families in the Napa Valley over the past decade.
