The St. Helena Chamber of Commerce has six open positions on the 18-member Board of Directors for three-year terms to start in January.
While current board members may run again, the election is open to all Chamber members.
Nominations are now open and will close on Nov. 17. Nomination forms can be obtained on the Chamber’s website at sthelena.com/chamber.
The election will be by email ballot held Nov. 19-29. Newly elected directors will attend the Chamber’s Annual Board Retreat on Dec. 6, where the board will discuss the focus for 2014.
“The Chamber is here to promote business and economic development, we encourage any Chamber member business to consider a position on the board or on one of our committees,” said Katie Somple, incoming board chair for 2014. “We are looking for individuals who represent a diverse group of businesses. At the retreat, our members will discuss our activities and programs and how they are benefiting our members.”
