Richard and Paula Crus of St. Helena are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Richard Crus and Paula Taber were married Oct. 29, 1960 in Long Beach, Calif. at St. Cyprian Catholic Church. The couple moved to Northern California and lived in San Jose, where Richard worked as a computer programmer for IBM.
The couple retired in St. Helena in 2001 and have been enjoying their retirement by traveling, cooking, quilting, woodworking and playing.
They are the parents of a daughter, Amanda (Cyril) Possa, of Sammamish, Wash., and a son, John (Rachel) Crus, of Tahoe City, Calif., and have five grandchildren.
