Earl and Trudy Bouligny of St. Helena are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, André Wyman Bouligny, to Shawna Marie Eveland, the daughter of Jim and Tracy Eveland of Cordova, Tenn.
The wedding took place Sept. 7, 2013, at Habitat for Hope, Shelby Forest, near Memphis, Tenn. The wedding party included best man Christopher Ainsworth, whose friendship with the groom goes back to Toddler Group sessions at St. Helena Cooperative Nursery School; Derek Taylor of St. Helena was a groomsman; Shawna’s sister, Valerie Freeman, was matron of honor, and André’s sister, Isabel Bouligny, was one of the bridesmaids.
Guests came from St. Helena, the Bay Area, Chicago, New York and North Africa. An aunt, uncle and cousin flew in from the United Kingdom to represent André’s British side of his family. A special guest of honor was Emma Rose, the couple’s 13-month-old daughter. At the reception, Shawna’s grandparents from Sacramento performed a beautiful “Tennessee Waltz.”
André graduated from the UCLA School of Engineering and is a project engineer with ACCO Engineered Systems, San Leandro, and Shawna graduated from the University of Memphis with a bachelor’s degree in business. She is a full-time mother. They are living in Dublin.
