Tara Elizabeth Blum of Yountville and Spencer Clements Clark Jr. of St. Helena were wed on Nov. 18, 2016 in Sayulita, a small Mexican surfing village north of Puerto Vallarta. Eighty-three guests enjoyed a week of activities filled with cultural charm and fun at the beach.
The bride is the daughter of Patricia and Christopher Blum of Yountville. She is a 2002 graduate of Vintage High School and a 2007 graduate of University of San Francisco with a degree in communications and PR studies. She is a wine industry professional working as a consultant and director of sales and hospitality for various luxury wine brands in Napa. She is currently director of hospitality at Whiterock Vineyard.
The groom is the son of Amizetta and Spencer Clark of St. Helena. He is a 1995 graduate of St. Helena High School. He is winery and project manager, and owner of Amizetta Vineyards.
Bridesmaids were Christine Clark, Jenny Wagner Clark, Isabel Clark, Amizetta Clark, Cat Purcell, Norma Whitt, Allison Parks, Cory Emerson, and Colleen LeCount.
Groomsmen were Christopher Blum Jr., Sean Blum, William “Eddie” Clark, Perry Clark, Americo Chelini, Jameson Woolery, and Bryan Tapper and ushers were Glenn Sullivan, Scott Dozier, and Matthew Towner Rhodes.
Officiants were Brian Woolery and Fr. Vinny Flynn.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at Villa Del Oso.
The couple plans to reside in Napa, where they recently restored a Queen Anne Victorian in downtown and where they have laid their roots. They intend to continue to be active in the community and wine industry.
