On Thursday, Dec. 14, at 6 p.m., the students of Howell Mountain Elementary School in Angwin will present their annual Christmas program in the school auditorium.

Programming includes musical selections from each classroom, community holiday singalongs, and a visit from Santa Claus. Cookies and drinks will be served following the program.

Admission is free, and the program is open to the public.

On Friday morning, Dec. 15, HMES staff will be outside the school to greet parents as they drop off their children, passing out hot cocoa and other goodies. “It’s our way of saying thank you to the parents for allowing us to teach their children,” said Janet Tufts, principal and superintendent.
