This week, join the community under the redwood trees, between 9 and 10:30 a.m., for two farmers market fundraisers: the Community Pancake Breakfast with Chef Lars Kronmark and his famous sourdough pancakes, and Carol Troy’s photo booth, offering her new instant-photo service. Help support the market’s educational programs, take home a souvenir photo and be sure to enjoy a plate of pancakes.
Plan on including sweet corn on your weekend dinner table. Come meet the market’s newest grower, Katy Pomelov of Lifefood Gardens. Her microgreens, yellow mustard and mild brassica, and sunflower sprouts are packed with flavor.
The St. Helena Farmers Market runs from 7:30 until noon on Fridays through October in Crane Park.
