Carolers, shopping, crafts, and Santa are just a few of the reasons to attend Calistoga’s 48th Annual Christmas Faire held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Napa County Fairgrounds, 1435 N. Oak St. in Calistoga. Admission is free.
Join Santa Claus for breakfast and bring the kids and pets to have their photo taken, from 9 a.m. to noon, the kids will have a chance to share their holiday wish list with Santa and from 1 to 4 p.m. your family pet can get their photo taken with Santa.
The Christmas Faire includes crafting stations to make decorations, ornaments, and there will be a special crafting station for guests to make holiday gifts for neighbors recently affected by the fires.
Throughout the day the Faire will offer posadas and piñata activities, cookie and cupcake decorating, a cakewalk, and a professional gingerbread house contest by local chefs. Come see gingerbread transformed into amazing creations, which will then be raffled off for charity. Participating restaurants are Solbar, Sam’s Social Club, and Brannan’s Grill.
