The St. Helena Chamber of Commerce will host a discussion of proposed changes to St. Helena’s Small Winery Ordinance at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, in the second-floor conference room at 899 Adams St.
The St. Helena Planning Commission is considering relaxing restrictions on marketing events at small wineries. Planning commissioners hope to recommend a new ordinance to the City Council in August.
The Chamber is inviting suggestions and input on the proposed ordinance “with the hope that we can bring to the Planning Commission appropriate language that allows our winery businesses to thrive while protecting Ag land,” according to a Chamber statement.
