The popular Retirement Renewal Forums returns for its third year this spring with a stellar lineup of speakers under the direction of Kal Edwards, Forum founder and retirement renewal specialist.
The series kicks off on Tuesday, March 6, with technology education specialist Skye Hallberg who will speak on “Keeping Pace with the Digital Age: What’s New, What’s Old, What’s Useless!” She will discuss eliminating common fears of electronic devices, offer practical approaches to making electronic choices and answer questions from the audience.
The Forums are a part of the Community Conversation series at Collabria Care and take place in the Gasser Community Room at 414 South Jefferson St. in Napa.
The second forum is Tuesday, May 1, with Dr. Sara Zeff Gerber, who will speak about “The Challenges and Solutions to Aging in Place.” A retirement and transition specialist, Gerber will bring her insights and options for continuing to live in one’s home or choosing other living options which may be more suitable after retirement.
The series concludes Tuesday, Sept. 18, with “Keeping the Laughter in our Lives” pairing a well-known humorist with an elder-care physician discussing the mental and physical benefits of laughter.
