REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
FOR ON CALL LANGUAGE TRANSLATION SERVICES
I. SCOPE OF SERVICES
To provide interpreter and written and verbal-to-written translation services for the Napa County Department of Public Works including, but not limited to projects for airport, building, roads improvement projects, FEMA and FHWA funded projects and California State and other Federal agency projects. At a minimum, applicants must be able to provide services in Spanish and Tagalog.
II. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS DISTRIBUTION, SUBMISSION, AND SELECTION PROCESS
The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be distributed via the Napa County website, printed media, and mailed to professional societies, certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), and firms within the Napa County consultant database that are qualified to perform the aforementioned Scope of Services.
All interested consultants MUST provide a contact person and email address.
Questions regarding the RFP shall be submitted by 2:00 P.M., September 19, 2019 and directed in writing to Sonja.El-Wakil@countyofnapa.org. Napa County Public Works will respond to all questions in writing. The answers to questions will also be posted on the Napa County Procurement website at https://www.countyofnapa.org/Bids.aspx. Questions will be answered and posted by 2:00 P.M., September 20, 2019. Please limit questions to clarifications pertaining to this Request for Proposals.
Addenda will be emailed to consultants placed on the Distribution List and will be posted on the Napa County Procurement website.
Three (3) copies of the Proposal shall be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the required information listed below:

Evaluation of all Proposals shall be conducted by County staff. As part of the evaluation process, references for past performance may also be contacted.
As many as the three most qualified firms may be selected for a short list based on attributes such as capability, experience, staff availability, history, past clientele, ability to meet deadlines and budgets, and cost estimates and fee schedules. All participating firms will be notified of the status of their proposal.
