Details for Queen of the Valley Hospital Foundation - Ad from 2019-09-15

We Couldn’t Have Done It Without You Breast cancer has the highest age-adjusted incidence rate in both Napa County and California. To help detect and diagnose it, St. Joseph Health, Queen of the Valley Medical Center purchased two new 3D mammography machines in 2017 at a cost of $1.4 million. The entire funding of this life-saving equipment was covered by donations from donors like Keli Manfred. In fact, last year Foundation donations paid for 82% of the costs of all new technology acquired by the Queen. Without this generous giving, we would not have this state-of-the-ar t equipment available to us today. “ I’m proud to know my small contribution helped the Queen make this happen!” Bringing big medicine to Napa is a costly ef for t. It takes contributions from people like Keli to keep the technology and ser vices we of fer on the cutting edge. -Keli Manfred, Napa Resident Thanks to all our donors for helping us with this important work!
