Jerry and Janet Knutson of Napa celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family for lunch in the wine cellar room at Brix Restaurant in Yountville.
They were married on April 16, 1966 and have lived in Napa for 45 years.
Both graduated from El Cerrito High School, he in 1962, she in 1963. They were married the day before Janet turned 21. Janet and Jerry moved to Napa in 1971. They enjoyed summers at Konocti at Clear Lake since before marriage.
In 1996, Janet and Jerry joined the neighborhood coffee group at the former Wagon Wheel in Napa, moving to Valley Liquor, and then back down the road to Monticello Deli. (This is where folks gather to “solve the world’s problems.”)
