St. Helena's A&W Restaurant today

Owners Lowell and Marjorie Smith opened St. Helena's A&W Restaurant on Sept. 10, 1966. Two years later, they sold it to Bob and Julia Fraser. The restaurant was remodeled and enlarged in 1984 and again in 1993. Today, its owner is Tom Redmon and it is run by Pete Knight.

On Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day, the St. Helena A&W restaurant is giving away free combos to all veterans and active duty military members.

A&W is also conducting a fundraiser for the local chapter of the Disabled American Veterans charity at the restaurant’s front counter in advance of the giveaway.

“Supporting veterans is part of A&W’s heritage,” said owner Peter Knight.

The restaurant is located at 501 Main St., St Helena.
