Napa Valley Bike Tours and Rentals (NVBT) was chosen by Spinway, an Australian-based bicycle company, to install their first automated bicycle rental machines in the Napa Valley.
“It’s tough for hotels to maintain bike safety and quality while committing valuable staff time to fill out waivers, issue bikes, give directions, etc.," said Brad Dropping, owner of NVBT.
"This new technology provides quick and easy access to bikes with no cost or involvement from the hotel and takes cars off the road. It’s a win for everyone.”
With three stores and more than 450 bikes in Napa, Sonoma and Yountville, NVBT has been providing bicycle tours and rentals in the wine country for more than 30 years, said a news release.
