Spend your Saturday morning learning to reduce and/or eliminate yard waste in order to turn it into wonderfully rich, free compost for your garden. Organized by Napa County and led by volunteers from the Napa Chapter of the UC Master Gardeners, this free workshop will help you become familiar with tools, types of bins, and the ins and outs of recycling yard waste, garden waste, and even some food waste.

At the end of the workshop, you may purchase a significantly discounted bin for your own backyard composting or a worm bin.

Advanced RSVP is very helpful, but not required via Eventbrite. We will be requesting more detailed registration information of each student at the start of the class and will be asking registrants in advance for their preference of backyard composting bin or worm bin via email.
