The Napa County Mental Health Board will address student mental health at its meeting on Monday, January 14th at 4:00PM-6:00PM. The meeting is open to the public.
In the 2015-2017 California Healthy Kids Survey, nearly one third of California of 9th and 11th graders reported feelings of chronic sadness. Even more troubling is that 16% of these students claimed they had considered suicide in the past 12 months. School representatives and community agencies will speak about mental health resources for students in Napa County.
