Held on the first Saturday of the month from 9:00-10:00 A.M., this program is a before-hours library use time designed for children ages 10 and younger who have a difficult time in large groups and have sensory processing challenges, or other special needs.
This browsing time allows our youngest patrons and their families to access the Children’s Room and associated services in a low-sensory environment. Natural and limited lighting, reduced noise, and limited patron access will help to support a sensory-friendly environment, and a member of staff will be available to provide reference and reader’s advisory services.
Please note that the patron computers and the areas and services outside of the Children’s Room will not be available for use during this time.
