The Coastal Mountain Conference revealed its All-League teams for the fall this week, and Calistoga High was widely recognized across the three sports.
The most decorated group was the Wildcats boys soccer team in the North Central League II, led by juniors Abad Cuenca (38 goals, 12 assists) and Mario Avina (10 goals, 11 assists).
Senior Manuel Zavala (seven goals, seven assists) and junior Manuel Garcia (four goals, five assists) were named to the Second Team.
Senior Eduardo Avina (one goal, one assist) was an honorable mention.
League MVP was Roseland University Prep’s senior Cesar Pulido.
In NCL II girls soccer, sophomore Lizbet Escobedo was First Team and senior Gilda Rojas was Second Team. Senior Yesnia Carillo was an honorable mention.
Junior Kayli Worden of Technology was selected as MVP.
In North Central League III South football, senior quarterback Flavio Fernandez and sophomore running back Jesus Mendoza made the First Team.
Fernandez threw for 529 yards with eight touchdowns and two interceptions, and also ran for 466 yards with a team-high 13 TDs. Mendoza had a team-high 85 carries for 706 yards and scored eight TDs. He surpassed 100 yards rushing in four out of seven games – the most of any Wildcat rusher.
Junior offensive lineman Ignacio Blancas was an honorable mention.
Rincon Valley Christian senior Willie Maples was named Offensive MVP.
On defense, junior linebacker Danny Parada made the First Team with a team-high in total tackles (97) and tackles for loss (13.0)
Senior Pablo Escalante (68 total tackles, 10.0 TFL) was an honorable mention.
Stuart Hall senior Nick Watts was Defensive MVP.
In NCL III volleyball, senior Citlali Montanez was selected to the First Team, seniors Sadie Monhoff and Elena Williams to the Second Team, and sophomore Vanessa Quiepo was an honorable mention.
MVP honors were shared by Mendocino’s Hana Zeramby and Laytonville’s Bronwyn Gifillan.
