Behind the scenes at the Crab Feed

James Yates was busy deicing boxes of fresh crab on Saturday behind the Butler Pavilion at the Napa County Fairgrounds for the Native Sons & Daughters annual “All you can eat” Crab Feed last year. Yates said they had purchased between 200 and 250 pounds of crab to feed 200 diners.

Save the date for the Native sons and Daughters 38th Annual Crab Feed Saturday, Jan. 19.

The All You Can Eat event is presented by Calistoga Native Sons and Daughters of the Golden West. It takes place at the Butler Pavilion at the Napa County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 7:30. There will also be a raffle, silent and live auctions.

Per person cost is $60 or $440 for a table of eight, and $550 for a table of 10.
