Hotel guest in Calistoga arrested on suspicion of domestic violence

A hotel guest was arrested after police were dispatched at 9 p.m. Thursday to a hotel in the 1000 block of Foothill Boulevard after a report of a possible domestic dispute, according to the Calistoga Police Department.

Michael Gonzales, 48, of Stockton, was arrested after a woman came to the lobby with a minor cut she allegedly suffered during an altercation with him, police said. The woman’s injury was treated by the fire department at the scene, police said. She did not require hospitalization.

Gonzales was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of domestic violence, police said.
