School officials across Napa County will hold a forum for parents on the health implications of marijuana and vaping on teenagers.
Local schools are concerned that underage students can now use marijuana products illegally in ways that are fairly undetectable, organizers said.
Families and concerned community members will learn why marijuana and vaping are so attractive to teens, and what concerned adults can do about it.
The Napa County Office of Education and the five district school boards of Napa County are hosting the free forum on Tuesday, Oct. 23 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at Yountville Elementary School, 6554 Yount St., Yountville.
Susan Ramsden, a forensic toxicology analyst, will be the presenter.
