On Saturday, June 24, at Calistoga Speedway’s 2017 Dirt Classic, among throngs of Rico Abreu racing fans and Boys & Girls Club kids and families, the Clubs were presented with a $100,000.00 check by Shannon Staglin of Staglin Family Vineyard for the Great Futures campaign, supporting the new Club under construction at 1401 N. Oak Street, Calistoga.
As Club members, staff and race spectators cheered, a second check of $150,000.00, was presented by Rico Abreu Racing and Abreu Vineyards. Combined with pre-event proceeds from donors nationwide, the total 2017 Dirt Classic contributions is more than $250,000.00! All proceeds will go to furnishing the new Calistoga Clubhouse with pool tables, STEM equipment, computers, homework lab supplies and more.
On behalf of the kids, the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Helena and Calistoga are enormously grateful to David Abreu, Rico Abreu and Staglin Family Vineyard.

David and Rico had a simple desire - to support the community they love.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Helena and Calistoga are community not fee supported. Every donation makes a difference. We serve the majority of children in the Up Valley and work hard to give them the tools they need to succeed in life.
Executive Director, Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Helena and Calistoga
