Construction has begun at a new 33-acre commercial project adjacent to the Napa County Airport called Napa Commerce Center.
The seven-building warehouse and light-industrial complex totals 388,000 square feet and is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Highways 12 and 29.
Groundbreaking for Building F, an 81,659-square-foot light-industrial warehouse building, is slated for late October. The modern and energy-efficient building will be ready for occupancy in the second quarter of 2016, said a news release.
Napa Commerce Center is a development of The Pigman Cos.
“The development of Napa Commerce Center represents a unique opportunity to deliver a mixed-use business park designed to accommodate the needs of Napa’s world-renowned wine production, storage and distribution companies,” said founder Kris Pigman.
“For companies that require a central Northern California location and modern industrial amenities, our project’s visibility and exposure, access and design flexibility will satisfy the Napa wine industry’s need for modern, energy-efficient buildings developed with deference to environmental sensitivity.”
