Napa Regional Dance Company announced that two students, Angelica Byrd and Amanda Jue, have been accepted into the year-round classical ballet program at San Francisco Ballet School. Both Napa Regional dance students attended the 2014 summer intensive program at San Francisco Ballet.

Amanda danced the role of Clara and Angelica, the solo Spanish Dancer role in the 13th annual season of Napa Regional Dance Company's community "Nutcracker" production at the Lincoln Theater.

Both dancers have been granted year-round placement in the SFB school; Angelica will receive a merit scholarship for the year.

"We are proud of these local students' accomplishments and wish them the best as they continue their dance careers," said Wanda McGill, director of Napa Regional Dance Company.
