Farm at Carneros Inn will offering two seatings. The first, with reservation times at 5:30, 6 and 6:30 p.m., features a six-course tasting menu and costs $125 per person. The second seating features an eight-course menu and entertainment by the Dan Daniels Trio from 8:30 p.m. to midnight. Reservation times are 8, 8:30 and 9 p.m., at $175 per person. Specials include confit of suckling pig with butternut squash, roasted chestnuts, persimmons and vadouvan butter.

Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch Winery will feature a four-course, prix fixe New Year’s Eve menu. As dessert is served, guests can enjoy live music and begin the countdown to 2013. At the stroke of midnight, a Champagne toast will ring in the new year and guests are invited to continue the festive celebration into the morning hours. The cost is $55; $75 with wine. Guests can also order from the regular menu.

Goose & Gander

Goose & Gander presents revelers with a Prohibition-era “flashback” celebration including fire dancers, live ragtime piano performed by Bob Ringwald, and a Champagne tower.

Two dinner seatings are available. The first, from 5:30-8 p.m., is $155 per person; the second, 8-10:30 p.m., is $175 per person. It includes a five-course menu with amuse, three courses and dessert plus a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival and a half bottle to share during dinner.

Guests at both seatings have access to the after-party on the outdoor patio lounge with live ragtime piano music and in the dining room starting at 11 p.m. The after-party features a DJ, dance floor and a photo booth. It’s $30 per person plus tax.

At 11 p.m., groups of up to six people may join the after-party and settle into their own VIP booth, where they will enjoy a top-shelf bottle of liquor with suitable accoutrements. This arrangement is $750 for up to six guests.

La Toque

The celebration in La Toque, the restaurant at the Westin Verasa Napa hotel, will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a Champagne reception and a five-course dinner followed by dancing at the Red Tie Party and Champagne at midnight. The cost for this dinner is $195 per person, $75 additional for wine pairings. Reservations are required with Megan at 257-5157.

The party will be from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. It’s $75 alone with sweet bites, party favors, Champagne toast at midnight, and dancing to the sounds of Nor Cal Pro Sound.

Meritage Resort

The Meritage Resort & Spa offers a number of options:

• A prix fixe five-course dinner at Siena, with entrance into the Carneros Ballroom party, is $75 per person.

• A six-course dinner in the Estate Cave, each course paired with Trinitas Cellars wines, plus entrance to the Carneros Ballroom party, is $200 per person.

• After dinner at the Meritage or elsewhere, dancing, dessert and a sparkling wine toast at midnight in the new Carneros Ballroom is $55 per person. It’s open from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Bottle service will be available in a VIP section.

• Crush Ultra Lounge, the resort’s sports bar with six bowling lanes and 12 big-screen TVs, will be open until 1 a.m. for guests who prefer to ring in the new year with a game of bowling, pool or darts.

Morimoto will offer two tasting menus: a Kaiseki (traditional Japanese) and a modern-style tasting. Both include A5 Wagyu and other special ingredients. The cost is $150 per person and the menus are served from 5-8 p.m.

Later that evening, the restaurant hosts its third annual New Year’s Eve party from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. with two DJ’s. The cost is $20 per person and includes a drink to celebrate the new year.

The Napa Valley Wine Train will hold its popular Crystal Ball New Year’s Eve celebration. This year’s event includes a sparkling wine and caviar reception, a four-hour multi-course gourmet meal, and dancing to a DJ until the early morning of the new year.

After a 5 p.m. reception, guests will board the train for a gourmet meal as they ride through the moonlit valley. Dinner on board starts around 7 p.m.

The after-party in the train station begins at 10 p.m.,, and dancing goes until 1 a.m.

Tickets are $237 to $267 per person for dinner and party; $45 per person for the after-party only.

Silo’s presents two shows with Briefcase Full of Blues, a Blues Brothers tribute band, at 7 and 10 p.m. This show brings back memories of the hit movie with the music and fun of the original Blues Brothers. Shawn Amato and Fred Vinson are backed by a high-energy six-piece band. The late show tickets includes a countdown to midnight with a sparkling toast. The early show is $45 and late show is $75. The menu includes Maine lobster and scallop salad with caviar mousseline; porcini mushroom soup with quail meatballs and onsen tamago; sea urchin risotto with Savoy cabbage and abalone; grilled lamb chop with lamb neck hash and winter black truffle sauce; and Lissa’s Sweet Surprise. The menu is $135, with wine pairing an additional $76. Bar Terra will serve its regular menu.
