The Rutherford Hall (formerly known as the Rutherford Grange) and the Rutherford Dust Society invite everyone to a nostalgic Holiday Festival open house on Sunday, Dec. 3 from 1-4 p.m., with Santa arriving by fire truck at 1:30 p.m. to visit with the children until 3 p.m.

The afternoon includes holiday carols, wine, cheese and charcuterie and holiday crafts for the kids. Proceeds will directly benefit the Rutherford 4-H Club, the Rutherford Volunteer Fire Department and the continued restoration of the community’s Rutherford Hall.

Tickets are limited and can be purchased at Children 12 and under are admitted free. Tickets for ages 13 to 20 years are $10 in advance and $15 at the door, and are $20 in advance and $25 at the door for 21 and over.

The historic Rutherford Hall, at 8550 St. Helena Highway, was built in 1916 as a community center where locals could gather to discuss issues, socialize and celebrate. The Rutherford Hall is undergoing restoration and celebrated its 100th birthday last year.
