Marjorie passed away Thursday May 25, 2017 at home due to complications of pneumonia. She was surrounded by family.
She was born November 16, 1919 in Hansboro, North Dakota to William Robert and Clara (Laing) Wilson. When she was 16 her family moved to Eugene, Oregon, where she met her husband Wayne. They married in Mapleton Oregon in 1941 and eventually settled in Napa where they founded North Bay Plywood, Inc. in 1958. After Wayne’s death in 1973, Marjorie continued working until retiring in 1981.
Marjorie was an avid sports fan who spent many hours following the Giants and Warriors. She loved playing bridge (until the age of 97) working her many cross-word puzzles, attending her great grandchildren’s sporting events well into her 90’s and all animals. She was loved by all and will be missed deeply.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Janice Lowenstein (Tom) and Marsha Duey (Jim); five grandchildren Tom C Lowenstein (Patty), Casey Kilpatrick, Sherri Marshall (Jim) , Jennifer Lowenstein and Amanda Eaton (Brian); and 7 great grandchildren, Jonah Montoya, Jake and Josh Marshall, Nathan Lowenstein, Jaden Lindahl and Chase and David Eaton.
The family wishes to thank Aegis for their loving care, Dr. Singer and Collabria Hospice.
