Michelle Lynn Frazier, 46, beloved daughter, sister, niece, auntie, cousin and friend, passed away of a heart attack last week in her home. She had battled diabetes since she was 8 years old.
Michelle, “Auntie Shells,” was born in Walnut Creek, Aug. 1, 1966. A 1984 graduate of Vintage High School, she earned a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University in 1994.
Michelle was known to her many friends as a kind-hearted free spirit who loved music and laughter. Her favorite pastime was hanging out with her nieces and nephews.

She was a very special and cherished daughter of Cheryl and Jerry LaFortune, Cobb Mountain, Calif.; and Darrell and Chris Frazier, Pleasanton, Calif.; beloved sister of Denise Barats (Greg), Avon, Conn., Cynthia Frazier Dammann (Scott), Mill Valley, Calif., and Allison Frazier, Fremont, Calif.; and treasured auntie of Adrian and Makena Barats, and Dylan, Quinn and Bennett Dammann.
A service to honor her life will be on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Tulocay Chapel, 411 Coombsville Road, Napa. Memories and words of sympathy may be sent to the family online at TulocayCemetery.org, or on Michelle’s Facebook page.
