New Tech High students Shawn Mabry, Daniels Vasquez, and Asjhley Lopez-Hernandez delivered armloads of paper towels, napkins, and aluminum foil to The Table. These students, and others in their Leadership class organized the "Wrap-It-Up" drive and gathered 47 rolls of paper towels, 5 packs of napkins, 7 rolls of aluminum foil, and 5 rolls of plastic wrap.

Napa County Reads 2019, a program of the Napa County Office of Education (NCOE), celebrated this year's pick "Refugee" at the Lincoln Theater on February 11. The event included a performance by the Napa High Chamber Choir. Local organizations that support immigrant and refugee populations were also at the event. Appetizers prepared by Vintage and St. Helena high school culinary students. Student art on display at the event was inspired by the book. Pictured left to right are NCOE Trustee Jennifer Kresge, Napa County Superintendent of Schools Barbara Nemko, moderator Barry Martin, author Alan Gratz, Napa local and former refugee Henry Michalski, and NCOE Trustee Janna Waldinger.
