It’s Dungeness crab season, which means it’s time for crab feeds, the popular fundraisers, which are taking place throughout the valley in the winter months. Here’s a list of the announcements we have received to date:

Saturday, Jan. 20

Calistoga Native Sons/Native Daughters of the Golden West hold its 37th annual crab feed with silent and live auctions in the Butler Building at the Napa County Fairgrounds, 1435 North Oak St. It begins at 5:30 p.m. with no-host cocktails. Dinner is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $60. Call 942-9525.

Saturday, Jan. 27

— The American Canyon High School Choir will serve crab, pasta, bread, salad, starting at 5 p.m. at American Canyon Community Center with a host bar, silent and live auctions, dancing and performances from the choir. Tickets are $65 or $500 for a 10-seat table. Purchase tickets at

— The Sons of Italy will hold its first crab feed on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 5:30 p.m. at the Napa Elks Club, 2840 Soscol Ave., Napa. Tickets for salad, clam chowder, pasta and fresh crab are $70 until Jan. 21, then $80. Info,
