Kitchen Collective opens in Napa

  • Updated

Kitchen Collective has opened its doors in Napa, introducing a gastronomic-focused private club concept to wine country.

An urban cooking club, Kitchen Collective allows members to share its fully-stocked state-of-the-art kitchen with personal coaching from a professional chef.

Based on the traditional Basque Gastronomic Societies, Kitchen Collective helps its members create the meals and dinner parties by partnering with the club’s professional chef and working with tools and ingredients otherwise unavailable to expand their culinary horizons while their guests and other members can enjoy the other social aspects of the club in its dining rooms, lounges, and lush central courtyard.

“Kitchen Collective is all about giving our members and their guests the tools to create what they haven’t been able to before,” said founder Garret Murphy. “We want everyone here to explore new tastes and techniques.”

While members are in the kitchen with one of their guests and cooking alongside the club’s chef, the rest of their party is able to communicate with them through a live video feed in the dining room while sipping from the club’s  wine selection.

A full membership, which allows members to use the club’s fully-stocked kitchen and professional chef, starts at $250 per month plus an initiation fee of $2,500. A social membership, allowing members to use the club’s facilities outside the kitchen, starts at $150 per month with a $1,500 initiation fee. All members will have access to exclusive member events including cooking classes and competitions, as well as visiting chef and vintner events. The club allows for 200 full memberships total.

Kitchen Collective is now open at 1650 Soscol Ave., Napa (formerly Cuvee restaurant). For membership inquiries, email
