n Compline, Napa’s new wine bar, restaurant and shop will be open on New Year’s Eve, 5 p.m. to midnight, with “sweet prices on Champagne,” a full four-course menu with wagyu ribeye, gnocchi, caviar, and foie gras ($85 per person) in the restaurant, and hot tunes and tasty bites in the lounge and bar. n Hurley’s: Chef Bob Hurley will be preparing a four-course prix-fixe menu that includes a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Reservations begin at 6 p.m. on Dec. 31. The cost is $85, excluding tax and gratuity.

n Farmstead: Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch is serving a 2018 New Year’s Day Brunch that includes Grass Fed Beef and Smoked Pork Hash, 12-hour Pulled Pork Sandwich, Biscuits and Gravy and Farmstead Benedict, along with a serving of black-eyed peas to bring prosperity.

n Farm at Carneros: Farm at Carneros has a New Year’s Eve six-course Chef’s Tasting Menu, from 5:30 to 1 p.m., for a night of indulgences including sparkling wine, white truffles and caviar for $150 a person.

They also will be offering a New Year’s Brunch, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with bubbly, oysters, and family-style courses, for $45 a person.
