Napa Valley Restaurant Week is underway Jan. 21-28 with restaurants throughout the valley offering lunch and dinner specials.
For example, Two Birds One Stone in St. Helena is serving four-course pre-fix dinner for $36 per person. The menu includes Fried Cauliflower with chili garlic sauce, Savory Japanese Pancake, Black Angus Beef Tenderloin, Fingerling Potatoes with garlic chives and rice wine glaze, and Cocoa-Sake soft serve ice cream.

Two Birds One Stone is also taking orders for Super Bowl specials, that will be packed and ready to go on Sunday, Feb. 4. Their grilled meats and seasonal dishes combine Japanese and Japanese-inspired flavors with fresh products and local ingredients. For Super Bowl 2018, the menu of customer favorites and a la carte dishes for take-out, includes:
-- A party bowl of ‘Chips n Dip’ with pickled plum, kewpie mayo ($20)
-- Crispy Wings with chili-yuzu glaze, pickled green papaya (10 pieces for $20)
-- Deviled Jidori Eggs with gribenes, shichimi togarashi, wasabi (12 pieces for $20)
-- Savory Japanese Pancake with green onion, sambal mayo ($16)
-- Whole Fried Korean Buffalo Chicken with house made kimchi & pickles (12 pieces for $65)
-- 16 oz akaushi, Texas red waygu Boneless New York Strip ($48)
Orders can be placed before Feb. 4 at the restaurant or by going online. Order by 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, and receive a dozen chocolate chip cookies ($50 minimum order).
