The Kendall-Jackson’s second annual Harvest Celebration on Sunday, Sept. 30, includes cooking demonstrations and educational seminars at Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens.
Throughout the day, executive chef Justin Wangler, chef Tracey Shepos Cenami, pastry chef Robert Nieto and culinary gardener Tucker Taylor. Additional activities include an interactive cooking demonstration by chef Douglas Keane of Two Birds/One Stone and a discussion on farm-to-table dining by chef Kyle Connaughton and Katina Connaughton of Single Thread.
Wine seminars include a California chardonnay blending seminar with Randy Ullom, a seminar on pairing wine and garden produce and tasting of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Bordeaux Belt of Sonoma.
General admission begins at 11 a.m., with the event concluding at 4 p.m.
Proceeds from Harvest Celebration tickets sales will benefit the UC Master Gardener Program of Sonoma County, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide environmentally sustainable, science-based horticultural information to all of Sonoma County.
