Celebrating its 35th anniversary, the Land Trust of Napa County welcomed more than 250 guests and raised nearly $300,000 at the seventh annual Feast of Eden Gala on Oct. 8 at Raymond Vineyards in St. Helena.
Raymond Vineyards proprietor Jean-Charles Boisset delivered a classic “Féte Champetre,” a country garden feast, complete with Napa Valley wines.
“We were so pleased to partner with the Land Trust of Napa County and support the incredible work they continue to do to protect and preserve the natural beauty of the Napa Valley,” Boisset said. “It was an evening to remember, with plenty of surprises throughout. Let us all celebrate the Land Trust of Napa County’s 35th year!”
The evening began with a reception and silent auction in the Raymond Grove, where guests strolled through the “Theater of Nature” to learn about organic and biodynamic farming.
Dinner followed, featuring a multi-course dinner prepared by Chef Peter McCaffrey of Wine Valley Catering and complemented by Raymond Vineyards wines. The evening culminated with a live auction. All proceeds will benefit the Land Trust of Napa County and its mission of preserving the character of Napa by permanently protecting land.
