Luminessa

"Luminessa fears most humans but hangs with the backyard opossums peacefully," says Bessie Psittas of Calistoga. "She was already a granny when we got her 2 years ago, but she thinks she's a kitten. We love her so much!"
Zorro

"Zorro is a loyal boy. He loves long walks in the woods with his dad, Simon," says Vanessa von Hessert of St. Helena. "He lays next to his mom for hours in the warm sun while she gardens. He likes to scare visitors with his loud bark. He chases chipmunks, but never catches them."

Cochi

"Cochi’s very energetic and loving," says Sergio Cruz of American Canyon. "He has a weird thing where he eats flowers and spit them out. He knows he’s a good looking dog and he loves the attention he gets. Give him a quick pat and a tickle on his stomach and he’ll become your best friend."
Stella

"Stella has just turned 10," says Sharon and Vinnie Guarrera of Napa. "She is moving a little slower these days, but she always loves to go for a ride in her Jeep, Betty."
Lucky

Grant Gelow found Lucky abandoned in Death Valley several years ago. After finding her alone, Grant took her to the vet, and the vet said she was lucky to have been rescued. "She’s now been with the Gelows for quite a few years, and I always say 'Grant didn’t rescue her, Lucky rescued Grant," says Jacqueline Gelow of Napa. "He's changed so much and become an amazing man all thanks to this dog who showed him unconditional love even after she had been tossed away."

Jax is the best cuddler ever, says Jessica Ilagan of Napa.
